Dark Matter- Poetry (40-D Challenge, Day 18)

dark matter

(the fall was too deep

but i took the plunge).

washed out from the drugs

pain-numbing anesthesia

cling desperately to my limbs

“don’t go,”

she whispers.

“i need you.”

swim in the lonely hours

of time’s fluid capsule

i wait.

she takes me

to a blitheful high

from which i don’t want to come down.

(through hell and back,

let’s see how this goes).
