Element: Water (Poem)

Second installment of the “elemental poems” series. Enjoy! 🙂

Swim in the dark hours

my Love, this cool night

too short for us. Dive

into belle isles, your

clear face reflects mine.

Torso in the lake,

legs flashing like fish

silver in the moon,

how I long to take

you: stroke your velvet

hair between my fing-

ers while I sleep

under your blue earth,

lulling, lulling dreams.
