leaves & sound (poem)

Happy Poetry Wednesday! As promised, a poem for you. Enjoy! 🙂

leaves & sound

spine pressed against

egg-washed white appliance

bending into magnets,

it’s kinetic

how everything works.

static magic humming

birds outside the sink,

their nectar wings clink on the

half-whiskey glass

beside the porch. quiet nights

by your side, watching leaves

& sound rustling in the sky, high

on black and blue rooftops

in the air, waiting for sunrise.

  1. Awesome poem. I can definitely sense that you take the time to really introspect alot. You capture the simplicity of nature and bring a sense of depth into it. I encourage you to keep doing what you’re doing ! I look forward to seeing more of your work 🙂
