Seasonal Snippets: Summer- Poetry

Hello, folks!

It’s been a long while since my last installment in the “Seasonal Snippets” poetry series. Considering that we’re well into August, here is this season’s poem for summer. 🙂

This will also be the final poem in the “Seasonal Snippets” series. It’s been a project that I’ve carried throughout this past year, and I hope you have come to enjoy them. Feel free to check out the previous poems in the series here: AutumnWinter, and Spring.

eternal heat to be likened to the timeless hills where i once blossomed for you.

august sights in the country side by side these elysian days, setting fires a-brush remembrance and forget, brown to the teeming soil where our roots began.

upon prairies i pray for a glimpse of hope, running streams through my body course ready to return to your source before the harvest.
