Yes, it’s December! Can you believe how quickly time has passed? Pretty soon, it’ll be the end of the year before we know it!
…but until then, welcome to the last month of the year! While December’s associated with Christmas, winter, and time with the family and friends, it’s also a time to reflect on the year and see where it has taken you, up until that moment. I’ll be writing another post on my reflections of 2016 later, but in any case, December definitely has that magical, pensive element to it.
That said, what are my plans for December? Interestingly, I will actually be doing a considerable amount of traveling during the holidays, just as I had done last year during my first year in France. I’ve probably mentioned before that I hadn’t planned on traveling much this year, due to the fact that I’m also currently in grad school while working simultaneously, and that requires me to save on money for tuition. I didn’t go out much during the October vacation, but with the winter season in full swing now, I’ve decided just to heck with it and bought myself tickets to a couple of destinations around Europe (won’t tell you where, as they’re surprises!). Seriously, the wanderlust was too real for me to say “no” to travel!
Anyway, I will have more of a busier month this time around, but hopefully a fun one nevertheless! More to come later, so stay tuned! Take care. 🙂
